Security

How UK Payslips protects your payroll data.

Authentication

Accounts are protected by authenticated sessions. Password resets follow a token-based flow and never reveal whether an email address exists.

Data isolation

Companies, employees and payslips are isolated to the account that owns them, enforced at the database level so one account cannot access another's records.

Sensitive identifiers

National Insurance numbers are masked by default on payslips and PDFs. Full values are only shown where you explicitly choose to reveal them.

Audit trail

Payroll actions — creation, edits, overrides, finalisation, revisions, voiding and downloads — are recorded in an audit log.

Immutable history

Finalised payslips store a snapshot of the rates and inputs used, so later changes can never silently rewrite an issued document.
